In-situ Post Tensioning Works Certification is the Product Certification scheme for in-situ post tensioning works according to SS EN 1992-1-1 standard and Requirements for Certification of Specialist Builders (RCSB).

This assessment schedule relates to the quality system requirements for the design, manufacture, supply and installation of post-tensioning systems in cast-in-situ concrete structures using bonded or unbonded tendons in accordance with the relevant product standard and execution specification.

This SS EN is the identical implementation of EN 1992-1-1 : 2004 ‘Eurocode 2 : Design of concrete structures – Part 1-1 : General rules and rules for buildings’ and is adopted with permission of CEN Rue de Stassart 36, B-1050 Brussels. This SS EN incorporates the EN corrigendum, EN 1992-1-1/AC dated 16 January 2008.

Singapore Accreditation Council (SAC) has launched the Accreditation Programme for In-situ Post Tensioning Works Certification on 30 November 2021. In-situ Post Tensioning Works Certification will be part of the requirements for Specialist Builder’s (In-site post-tensioning work) SB(PT) license renewal by Building Construction Authority (BCA).  Only SAC accredited certificate will be recognised by BCA from June 2023 tentatively as the transition period.
