Quantifying greenhouse gas emissions enables organizations to understand their climate impact and identify key contributors to their carbon footprint. This data empowers strategic decision-making to minimize environmental harm while demonstrating environmental responsibility. Consistent monitoring allows companies to evaluate emission reduction progress and ensuring they are on the path to achieving their sustainability goals.

What is ISO 14064?

ISO 14064 is an international standard for greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting and verification.
The standard is structured in three parts:
1. ISO 14064-1: Specifies requirements for designing and developing organizational GHG inventories
2. ISO 14064-2: Focuses on quantifying, monitoring and reporting emission reductions and removal enhancements
3. ISO 14064-3: Details the validation and verification processes for GHG assertions

This standard provides organizations with a framework to quantify, monitor, report, and verify greenhouse gas emissions. It helps businesses manage their carbon footprint with transparency and accuracy, which is increasingly important in addressing climate change concerns and meeting environmental regulations.
The validation and verification conformity assessment demonstrates an organization's commitment to measuring and managing their greenhouse gas emissions with internationally recognized methodologies.
