SS 651:2019 - Safety & Health Management System for the Chemical Industry - Requirements with guidance for use

SS 651:2019 Safety and Health Management System for the Chemical Industry was published on 22 January 20220 and it has officially replaced SS 506:Part 3:2013 as of 31 December 2021. With SS 651, organizations are able to provide a safe and healthy workplace, prevent work-related injury and ill health, and continually improve their safety and health performance.

SS 651 provides a framework for managing safety and health risks and opportunities and aims to prevent work-related injury and ill health to workers and to provide a safe and healthy workplace. It also helps to eliminate hazards and minimize safety and health risks by taking effective preventive and protective measures.
