Ready-Mixed Concrete Product Certification
SS EN 206:2014(2024) + A1:2024 | SS 544-1:2024 | SS 544-2:2024 | SAC CT 06:2026
Ready-Mixed Concrete (RMC) Product Certification demonstrates that your concrete production processes consistently comply with Singapore's regulatory and technical requirements for structural concrete.
In Singapore, the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) requires manufacturers supplying ready-mixed concrete for structural applications to obtain product certification from a certification body accredited by the Singapore Accreditation Council (SAC). Since 2010, SOCOTEC Certification Singapore has been providing accredited Ready-Mixed Concrete Product Certification services to concrete manufacturers in Singapore and the region.
Certification Standards
SOCOTEC Certification Singapore provides certification against the latest applicable requirements:
- SS EN 206:2014(2024) + A1:2024 – Concrete – Specification, performance, production and conformity
- SS 544-1:2024 – Concrete – Complementary Singapore Standard to SS EN 206 – Part 1: Method of specifying and guidance for the specifier
- SS 544-2:2024 – Concrete – Complementary Singapore Standard to SS EN 206 – Part 2: Specification for constituent materials and concrete
- SAC CT 06:2026 – SAC Criteria for Ready-Mixed Concrete Producers
These standards collectively establish the requirements for concrete specification, production control, conformity assessment, constituent materials and quality assurance for ready-mixed concrete production.

Key steps of Certification

- Note 1: Inspector days will be different between SAC/ Non-SAC accredited certification body.
- Note 2: Inspector days for each subsequent batching plant (BP) using a different mixer in the same location and using the same constituent material from the sources as the first batching plant, would be reduced by 0.5 inspector day.
- Note 3: 35 samples exceeding 3 months and meet the concrete strength characteristic.
