SS 651 Safety & Health Management System for the Chemical Industry is a modified adoption of ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health & Safety Management System.
It is developed for organizations involved in the chemical industry to address both occupational safety and health management system requirements as well as process safety management system requirements.
As of 31 December 2021, SS 651:2019 has officially replaced SS 506: Part 3:2013, and organizations who are certified to SS 651:2019 would therefore meet the requirements of ISO 45001:2018.
